The L.I.G.H.T.house Church - Why We Exist

Vision: To fulfill the Great Commandment and The Great Commission.

The Great Commandment: Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind…Love your neighbor as yourself.” – Matthew 22:37-39

The Great Commission: Jesus said, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you…” – Matthew 28:17-20

Mission: The Lighthouse Church exists to live out the Great Commandment and fulfill the Great Commission in our local communities and, ultimately, to make an impact that will affect communities around the world.

The Lighthouse Church exists to be a place where people can demonstrate our love for God through corporate worship in its many forms. “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” – Matthew 22:37

The Lighthouse Church exists so that we can inspire and encourage one another through genuine relationships and authentic fellowship. “And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, all the more as you see the day drawing near.” – Hebrews 10:24-25

The Lighthouse Church exists so that we may share the love and hope that God offers to our community and, ultimately, the world through evangelism. “Go, therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit…” – Matthew 28:19

The Lighthouse Church exists to help those in need through various acts of service. "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, our Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.” - James 1:27

The Lighthouse Church exists to provide meaningful ways for our members to engage in ministry: to utilize the unique giftings that God has given them, share testimonies of what God has done for them, and teach others what Jesus has taught them. “Go therefore…and teaching them everything I have taught you.” - Matthew 28:19-20
